Techniques: Majolica                               Ceramic supplies list at right
Project Length: 3 Hours
Skill Level: Intermediate
Project Tips: Majolica is a centuries-old technique. In simplest terms, majolica is a glaze design layered on top of a base color of glaze. In general, apply three coats of a base color, let it dry and apply a design on top of your base color. Beautiful gloss and matte combinations can be created by using Series 2000™ Matte glazes as a base and Stroke and Coat® for the design.
